Newspapers we should add next
Tell us what publications would be of most use to you. You can be as general (Victorian cycling magazines) or specific (South Wales Argus) as you wish! Bucks Advertiser & Aylesbury News (1860-1912)
The Bucks Advertiser & Aylesbury News from 1860 - 1912 is on microfilm. The BNA list this newspaper but only a few of the copies are found. Robert Gibbs, the historian, was the proprietor of the Bucks Advertiser and the archive is the poorer for it being online.

Beccles & Bungay Journal
The 'Beccles & Bungay Journal' is an important local newspaper which, since 1933, has covered the rural market towns and parishes located in both the Waveney Valley and the broader area straddling the eastern border between the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk.
Sadly, during this last year, those in this area in Suffolk have lost their local branch of the county's Record Office, and so have lost easy access to many of the area's original historical documents. Therefore, the addition of the earlier decades of this title to your website would, doubtless, be very welcome.28 votes -

Bucks Advertiser & Aylesbury News (1860-1912)
The Bucks Advertiser & Aylesbury News from 1860 - 1912 is on microfilm. The BNA list this newspaper but only a few of the copies are found. Robert Gibbs, the historian, was the proprietor of the Bucks Advertiser and the archive is the poorer for it NOT being online.
BNA's OCR system failed to work for this publication. Around 2,500 should have been transcribed. The archive has circa 100 copies of the Bucks Advertiser online. Please BNA, put these newspapers online, Bucks history will be the richer.6 votes -
Nottingham Advertiser
It’s frustrating Nottingham has no depictions of life in the city after 1950 when so much has changed in the past seventy years

Loughborough Echo
Coverage is currently very limited for what is an important subregional East Midlands newspaper. More editions for the first half of the 20th century would be particularly welcome.

(Lloyd's) The Sunday News
It ran long articles about people of importance in the 1920's and would be of great help to researchers of that time.

At Trafford Local Studies and Archives, we hold this newspaper on microfilm from 1904 until 1969. It is our best used newspaper and is full of detail about the local area.

Dundee Courier
Can you please add editions of DC Thompson's "Dundee Courier" from 1956-1960, which should now be in your 60-year copyright window. These are contained on microfilm in Dundee City Library so could be quickly transferred to computerised versions.

Melton Times
I have subscribed to the BNA for quite a few years now and keep waiting for my local newspaper, the Melton Times, to be added. This paper covers a wide area and so much information could be found.

Market Harborough Advertiser and Midland Mail
Brilliant coverage for a market town and large rural area that doesn’t feature much in the Leicester or Northampton papers. Please vote for it!

Bombay Gazette
This series currently ends in 1868, which is halfway through my great-great-grandfather’s story, who appeared regularly in the paper. I want to find out the rest of his story.
