We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

    The Times. (the national one published in London). I'm surprised this isn't already available as you must have all the copies and I'm sure I was able to read them when you were at Colindale.

  2. Temperance Newspapers

    Why are there no temperance papers at all on here? This movement involved an estimated 10% of the population in 1900, and was one of the most influential cultural, social, and political forces for nearly 100 years - please catch up!!!! Such as the Temperance Companion, Alliance News, etc.

  20. The Tunbridge Wells Advertiser

    The Tunbridge Wells Advertiser is one of the key local newspapers that is still relevant today as it gave rise to the phrase 'Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells' - many of the letters to the editor were signed 'DISGUSTED'. Strangely, the paper was digitally available in 2013 whereas it no longer is today. Instead, there are a lot of local papers from the area that are available on this database but that have no such pedigree.
