Newspapers we should add next
Tell us what publications would be of most use to you. You can be as general (Victorian cycling magazines) or specific (South Wales Argus) as you wish! We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

Newry Telegraph
The Newry Telegraph was printed up to 1970 but it is only available on here up to 1902. Is it possible to get more years added as it would be valuable to my research into Newry Town FC.

Good news! – Buckingham Advertiser and Free Press fits our inclusion criteria. We have researched the BL catalogue and it is available to us for digitisation. We have added the following years to our Digitisation Plan: 1854-1955
We are looking forward to digitising this!
Please be aware that until we have received the material into our studio and checked it, it is not possible to guarantee that it will be digitised.
Best wishes,

Magazines, especially Woman and Woman's Own
These would be a useful resource for researching fashions and attitudes of the day, and also a source for researching the works of the authors of the stories printed in the magazines. I would dearly love to find the stories my grandmother wrote for one of these magazines, but finding the time to travel to do the research makes this very difficult.

Fort William Times about 1898 only two years which are in a very poor state but covers the Highland Regionan interesting time
It was only published for about two years which are in a very poor state at the BL collection. It covers a wide area of the Highlands at an interesting time for the area. Being a small publication it might be missed out but surely we should be looking at regional papers as well as the large cities? It is on microfilm but the public have no access to this and moving the originals around the country to the BL reading rounds will be difficult due to it's condition.

Hartland Chronicle
This paper covered Western Devon and North Cornwall with local detail not included in the Western Morning News, Connishman & Cornish Telegraph, Devon & Exeter Gazette and Western Times (and others). OK, so there are already a lot of papers covering the South West, but perhaps you can squeeze in just one more?

The New Moral World
The official newspaper of the Owenite Socialist movement, The New Moral World (1834-1845) is a crucial resource for the study of working class culture in its heroic age. To my knowledge, no one has digitized it!
