Manchester Evening News Post 1945 - Present. This would useful as relevant to most people alive today as it’s in their lifetime.
Not worth the subscription to me otherwise. -

I'm from N Ireland and been searching for a photograph which appeared in this paper in 1960s/70s. I've visited both Manchester Library and British Library without success YET. I'm sure there are many N Ireland/Ireland people who may be interested in family related articles which appeared in this paper during these years

Having made a similar enquiry a few months ago, the `gap` reply mentioned a copyright problem So why are issues either side of the `gap` dates OK? It does not make sense why someone somewhere should claim copyright for the gap years 1919-1930, Manchester Evening News.

I agree. This was and remains the largest newspaper for the UK's second city

Addition of this key regional title for the 1920s to 1950s would be very worthwhile.

I have been looking into fallen soldiers and would like to search the rest of WW1 and you only have up to 1917, would be fitting giving the circumstances of the centenary that all years of the war are covered.
