Please see all the votes for the Malton Messenger! This town has an important heritage and newspapers are sitting deteriorating no doubt in Malton Library. This would be very useful to genealogists and local historians. Please, please, please

Aberdeen Evening Gazette
This title was the evening edition of the Aberdeen Free Press, which you have started to digitise. It was absorbed by Aberdeen Journals in 1922 and merged into the Aberdeen Evening Express. It was the best of the Aberdeen papers for feature articles and an alternative view on current events.

More Scottish borders newspapers
There is a big gap in the 1890's for the Berwickshire News (1893-1900) and the The Berwick Advertiser (1893 -1896 and 1898 - 1903). These papers cover a wide area around the Borders with news from both England and Scotland. A very rich source of information.

Bucks Advertiser & Aylesbury News (1860-1912)
The Bucks Advertiser & Aylesbury News from 1860 - 1912 is on microfilm. The BNA list this newspaper but only a few of the copies are found. Robert Gibbs, the historian, was the proprietor of the Bucks Advertiser and the archive is the poorer for it being online.

Banffshire Advertiser
The Banffshire Advertiser newspaper covered the Buckie area and has not to be confused with the Banffshire Journal which is already online. Therefore would it be possible to have the Banffshire Advertiser added at some point soon.

Chatham News
This series of newspapers was last updated two years ago, and the planned/promised issues have yet to materialise. Would it not be a good idea to complete the promised digitisation of papers such as this, rather than adding new, obscure titles?
At the moment, Chatham News has just ONE year available from the 20th Century, 1939. The plan was to add 1903 to 1955, which would cover both major conflicts of that century at what was one of Britain's major Naval ports.
