How can we improve The British Newspaper Archive?

  2. Pre-1867 Maritime Canada Newspapers

    Canadian Maritime Newspapers (ie Halifax, Nova Scotia). It would make ocean history research easier if one had access to the newspapers from both sides of the Atlantic. (thought I'd toss in my wish list suggestion). Pre-1867 it is technically British News...

  3. Let this website be used more widely by those who need it

    I am an American student writing a research paper. I would like to include the British perspective so that my paper can have more depth and a more global perspective. I have used this site in the past (when it was still free) and managed to get many excellent articles, and now I feel rather disappointed to find that a paid subscription is required. While I cannot find reason to allocate funds in the hope of getting a few articles, it would be a shame for the British perspective to be left out of my paper and for me to…
