In Trove the Australian newspaper website, identified people are allowed to edit the text, and correct the inevitable errors of OCR.
Allowing editing has improved the text massively to the benefit of all

You can do this from within the viewer: just choose the “edit” button from the viewer page

Every subscriber is allowed to correct the OCR. Just click 'edit'!
