Stop automatically changing and to AND
The word 'and' forms part of many phrases and names. If I am searching for the Crown and Thistle PH I am only interested in the phrase, not every page that contains both words.

If you enclose the phrase in double quotes, it will match only that entire phrase, rather than everything with both words (although it still confusingly redisplays the and as AND). So crown and thistle returns 6773 pages, but "crown and thistle" returns only 1133 pages

I also have great difficulty with "and" when searching for, for example, Chard and District Motor Services. I got all sorts of Chard results so I changed and to & and got just one hit but I am not convinced this is the only mention of the company for which I am searching
