A search option for just Day & Month - Year is Wildcard

I do Radio Programmes, and I wish to search for events that have happened on a day and a month.. You cannot search for this at the moment, which is very frustrating..

    The National Library of Wales' Welsh Newspapers search has the month and day search capability. It can be very handy, if one's looking for features that only appear in e.g. a Sunday newspaper, or in December in the lead-up to Christmas. I.e. being able to search across a range of years (or all years) but only in x month issues, or only in x day issues.

    So for Example - I want to search for everything that has happened on the 26th August... then it would list everything that has happened on that particular day..
