Would be really interested in the Brentford and Chiswick Times from the 1970s and 1980s

The Chiswick Times is the only newspaper covering Chiswick's local government elections in the detail sufficient for academic study. I am a PhD student and currently struggling to search the newspaper over the (approx.) thirty year period from 1895 to 1927. Please, please upload this. The Chiswick Times became the Brentford and Chiswick Times in 1927 or 1928, and so the two are essentially one title.

I agree. The Hampstead & Highgate Express provided invaluable reports on famous 19th century lecturers in the area.

These individual local London area newspapers provide far moe detail for the local historian and genealogist than the London wide newspapers can hope to supply
