Should not erase our history, how do we compare it to our future

Our local newspaper, the Chingford Guardian, was an excellent news and entertainment journal in the 1950s and 1960s, and has continued to be of great quality through to the present time.

I used to work in the advertisement department (shop in Hoe Street). Paper was very informative and kept people in touch with local events, especially those that are housebound.

Walthamstow Guardian will provide a reach history source for future generations, particularly for family historians. This newspaper should be added to your site.

I frequently use the BNA in my research but always come up against a brick wall when trying to research my own local areas of Walthamstow and Chingford. It is so frustrating! Please consider this newspaper for digitisation soon! Thanks.
