The Tunbridge Wells Advertiser is one of the key local newspapers that is still relevant today as it gave rise to the phrase 'Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells' - many of the letters to the editor were signed 'DISGUSTED'. Strangely, the paper was digitally available in 2013 whereas it no longer is today. Instead, there are a lot of local papers from the area that are available on this database but that have no such pedigree. I am sure many former letter writers are spinning in their grave wishing they could still reach for their pen and vent their outrage. They would have liked the internet. :)
