I used to access this at the BL newspaper library at Colindale and it’s a fantastic paper, rich with detail. Would be a great resource for all sports in Northamptonshire. Please vote for it!

Northants Evening Telegraph

Researching a local Brass band to Kettering that was formed in 1933 and I have looked at most if not all the other Northamptonshire resources currently scanned on the site which have been very useful!

Going off the years that are scanned of this paper (1939 & 1957) the Northants Evening Telegraph was the more popular paper for publishing brass band news in the county. We still have a full page article in our bandroom detailing their winning performance at Crystal Palace in 1935 so I know it was a paper that supported the band.

Would like these years digitised please.

1933-38 then the more years the better post 1945/46 when the band restarted after the war.
