Glasgow Evening Times
All years. Being able to search the family Notices section would be fantastic for any family historian.

A First World War roll of honour has been compiled and indexed by Mitchell Library staff, and is online:
'During the First World War, the Evening Times newspaper printed short biographies of service personnel from Glasgow and surrounding areas, who were reported missing, wounded or killed, often as an appeal from their families for further information. Entries usually include regiment, address, family names, occupation and often a photograph. This photograph may be the only one that exists of the person at that time.' -
