More Cumbrian Titles!
Apart from one year of the Kendal Mercury, I've been waiting an age for some Cumbrian publications.
The Carlisle Journal hasn't seen any additions since the first few weeks of your launch.
As for new publications, I would love to see some editions of the West Cumberland Times or the short-lived Wigton Advertiser.
By the way, a fantastic site bringing to light my fantastic ancestors!
We’re scouring for more Cumbrian titles at the moment – we’ll keep you posted.
What about Cumberland News!
Stephen Reid commented
Whitehaven News from 1874 onwards would be invaluable but other Cumberland and Westmorland (Cumbria) titles too, especially as one can't get to the county archives easily at present due to Coronavirus restrictions.
No Cumbrian titles that cover the twentieth century - I know that microfilm of these exists!

Just wondering if you have completed your review of my initial request. Whitehaven was the busiest Port in the UK before Liverpool expanded - I think it deserves a better coverage than it has at the present.
I would welcome the addition of the Workington Star/Cumberland Star
I would like to see the Cumberland and Westmorland Herald and the Penrith Observer added please!
Entirely agree. Would love something like the West Cumberland Times or any title that covers the Whitehaven area.

They've added several years of the Westmorland Gazette too. I'd really like to see the 1900-1944 period added for that paper.
