Whilst more Newcastle & Durham papers would be welcome, the south bank of the Tyne is still extremely poorly represented. We need more 20th century issues of the Shields Daily Gazette, the Gateshead Observer (best 19th century coverage of the Gateshead area), Gateshead Post, Felling Gazette, Heslop's Advertiser, Jarrow Guardian, & The Shieldsman

Please - some papers from North Durham. Newcastle is limited and The Northern Echo based south of the region. Stanley and Consett areas would be fantastic!

I agree - the industrial NE in the C20 is patchily covered at present.

The Durham Advertiser as a complete run would be excellent- at the moment it is very patchy.

1864, 1868, 1876, 1898 are missing and beyond 1904 would be very helpful, especially WW1 period.
