Staffordshire Sentinel

I would like to see the existing dates extended into the 1920 at least. My interest is the effect and aftermath of the First World War on the people of the Potteries.

    I would like to see this publicised not only was it once a leading daily, the city was also an northern industrial powerhouse the influence of this paper on rhe region should not go unnoticed.

    a lot of votes for this, and if all the other votes were amalgamated together with this one it would total somewhere in the vicinity of 4000 votes, a great deal higher than many many others which keep getting added before this one.

    I would like to read about Stanley Matthews homecoming to Stoke City and the reaction of the paper to him in the 1960s, also this paper produced a long standing popular cartoon 'May un mar lady' which at the time was hugely popular
