CITY PRESS
This was the "local" paper for the City of London from 1875 onwards. It has very extensive biographical information on City personalities, giving information about them which is very hard to find elsewhere. It is particularly good for casualties of the First World War, with a greater number of portrait photographs and biographies than found anywhere else. Particularly strong on all of Greater London and the Home Counties and a great supplement to First World War researchers already used to BNA coverage of other local papers. A real treasure trove.
This serial has already been digitised by British Library and BNA apparently has digitised a small earlier run.
Please, please assist all First World War researchers in these centennial years by putting the 1914-1918 run online and seachable-It would be a great help to the many people doing Rolls of Honour, etc foe the centennial years of the war
