Hexham Courant

A great deal of local commentary is missing as this paper was a lifeline to small rural and semi rural communities who were linked by rail as the paper distribution took place largely via this transport method. It is a major gap in your assertion that you are the British Newspaper Archive as the vibrant Tyne Valley Community has a number of historical societies who are trying to investigate and bring to life their rich cultural past. Can you help us to rectify this gap as quickly as possible please. Kind regards

Disappointed that you don't have the Hexham Courant as the local Queens Library which is 15 miles from where I live has a full set of microfilms which could be used as a starting point prior to full take on. Thought the Courant would have been on your system so very disappointed and suppose should have checked more thoroughly before I paid a subscription. Kind Regards
