Merseyside area - Liverpool and Wirral
There appears to be a lack of newspapers from the Merseyside areas of Liverpool and The Wirral. When can we expect to see more please.
As luck would have it, we have put in a request to look at adding the Wallasey & Wirral Chronicle – we will investigate what is available.

A Newspaper from Wallasey, Cheshire, England, especially 1850s to 1950s or more from Liverpool, Lancs. or Merseyside. Thanks.

Definitely more papers from 1919 - Im trying to research the Liverpool echo and other papers from 1919 and the online archive drops off this year

Can we have Liverpool newspapers for date range from 1900 to 1910? These seem to be missing.

Very good questions requiring REAL answers, actions and common sense priorities – instead of just waffle, evasion and more issues of the Sussex Agricultural Express!
It is disgraceful that, after 2 and a half years of subscription, there is nothing at all for Birkenhead (Where are the Birkenhead and Cheshire Advertiser 1863-1930 & Birkenhead News 1877-1985?) and nothing for Liverpool in 1836, 1900-1913, and 1919-2014.
It is very slippery & dishonest to claim 1850-1949 for the Liverpool Daily Post & Liverpool Echo when you only actually provide 23 out of the 200 years:
Liverpool Daily Post 1855-1869,1914-1918 (NOT 1850-1949! - 19 years NOT 100 years!!!)
Liverpool Echo 1884 one issue! 1914-1918 (NOT 1850-1949! - 4 years NOT 100 years!!!)
Also, Liverpool Mercury 1811-1899 (1836 missing)
