The harrow observer

In the past I used to visit Harrow Library to peruse old Harrow Observers that were on microfilm, This facility is no longer available so we desperately need to archive properly.

We need to keep the borough's history alive.

This is my history as a past Harrow resident brought up and schooled in Harrow. There are two photos in which so appear plus all the articles about the locations, organisations and events in which I was interested

Those Harrow observer pages encompass all our histories. Please preserve for eternity

Lest we forget at our own peril.

A vital yet fast disappearing public resource for a very large part of NW London, needs to be digitised and made available to all before it is forgotten and lost for ever.

Must ensure local history is available to all.

A Digital archive of the changing face of Harrow provides a useful research tool.

This would be a fascinating resource to see how Harrow has changed through the generations.

I regularly took the Harrow Observer from the1980s till it stopped publication.

Having the Harrow Observer old issues available to be accessed online would be most important for a town of more than 250,000 inhabitants.

The loss of access to local history is quite scandalous. For us local residents it is vital that the Harrow Observer is made easily available.

The sports pages, especially Wealdstone FC reports, will bring back happy memories long forgotten.
