This paper gave comprehensive coverage of Southend's growth from first publication in 1873 to the 1960s, when its importance and quality declined after the introduction of its evening stable partner, the Evening Echo (Basildon).

You have started adding the Grays & Tilbury Gazette & Southend Telegraph but unfortunately it concentrates on the Grays area and even dropped Southend Telegraph from its title 26th January 1901.
