This paper gave comprehensive coverage of Southend's growth from first publication in 1873 to the 1960s, when its importance and quality declined after the introduction of its evening stable partner, the Evening Echo (Basildon).

You have started adding the Grays & Tilbury Gazette & Southend Telegraph but unfortunately it concentrates on the Grays area and even dropped Southend Telegraph from its title 26th January 1901.

Yes please, there is lots of good info in the southend standard but I can only find it on microfilm in Southend library

Please add the Southend Standard to your newspaper archive, as only two newspapers cover south Essex at the moment.
