This may be a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone remembers John Mortimer? He is Irish and in the early 1960s he worked as an apprentice garage mechanic after dropping out of art college. He was probably born in 1939 or 1940. Thanks for any help.

Looking for any information on the late Hugh Duncan Campbell Macleod who I believe left Barking , he was in the Isle of Man where I now live , in Peel , can’t find any other Macleod’s here so was wondering where he lived ? when he came to the Isle of Man and is he maybe a distant relative,

When my great uncle, Murdoch Mackenzie, married on 14 September 1925, in Little Ilford, his usual address was stated to be Barking.
Murdoch was the schoolmaster there.
If anyone has any information, or photos of him or the school, I would be fascinated. -

It would be great see this to be kept online. It will assist with researching history and searching for articles and photographs of big events and history of the borough.
