The newspaper archive is sadly lacking in newspapers from the North East Suffolk area so the Halesworth Times would be a great addition to the archive

Apart from a handful of copies of this paper held by the local museum, there is no way, locally, to access copies for these dates. The Suffolk Record Office has a full record on microfilm for the paper's entire run from 1855-1983, apart from for this 25 years – it is unclear why this is so. So the only option to people is to visit the British Library.
