I was given a copy of a paper showing the declaration of war September 1939 to the people of Anstruther, Fife standing on the pier in which my father is seen standing leaning on a pole on top of the harbour wall but during a house move I have lost it and the person who gave me it has died. I don't know if it was your paper or not but I would be grateful if you could have a look, Thank you.

I was born in Welch Bank, the little house at the bottom of Abbey Wall Road Pittenweem in 1928, and I am wondering what news there was at that time , about fishermen and town living. Catherine Wood nee Tawse, with Lawson connections. I have been in Canads for 65 years.
