Whilst I appreciate that you have addressed the lack of newspapers from the former counties of Cumberland and Westmorland to an extent, coverage of the 20th century is still somewhat pathetic - there are a few 'parochial' newspapers available for this period which offer little more than 4 pages per edition with very little editorial. I would have thought that by now we would have seen some coverage of the Great War by some of the 'county' newspapers (for example, The Westmorland Gazette, The Cumberland News and the Carlisle Journal) but as yet, to no avail. I seem to recall that a promise was made by yourselves to have the war covered by newspapers in every county but this hasn't happened! Please advise me as to your intentions with regard to these counties
