I’m researching a series of articles from The Illustrated Police News from the 1880s, but I’m having trouble searching by keyword because some of them don’t seem to be OCR-recognized correctly (words are misspelled or missing when I can see them clearly in the scan). Is there a way to report OCR errors? And any tips for finding more effectively in poorly scanned pages of old newspapers?
