← Who we are and what we do
The British Newspaper Archive is wholly owned and operated by Findmypast Newspaper Archive Limited. It is part of a group  family history websites including findmypast, Genes Reunited and Lives of the First World War. 

The British Newspaper Archive team's headquarters are in London, and this is where our management, marketing, finance and development teams are based. Our scanning team is based at the British Library in Boston Spa, Yorkshire - in the same building as all of those lovely old newspapers. Our production team, who make the pages searchable and publish them onto our website, are based in our operations centre in Dundee.
