Knew exactly what I was looking for in a 1977 Kensngton Post; but wasted the 3x free looks.

Maybe it because Findmy past are mostly digitising from microfilm rather than from the original newspaper. So we get all the imperfections and often poor contrast from the old microfilm which is not of sifficient quality to allow the OCR to distinguish every word. A good opportunity lost to give us modern quality digitised repoductions and I would suggest, slightly dishonest.

Last time I used this site I couldn't find articles I absolutely knew existed. I correctly input the dates, location and specific newspaper and I got 0 results.
I tried again today with exactly the same result. Such a shame, I'd use this archive all the time if it actually worked
