Newspapers we should add next

Tell us what publications would be of most use to you. You can be as general (Victorian cycling magazines) or specific (South Wales Argus) as you wish! We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

Such a short run, and you could claim to have another entire run of a paper up!

We appreciate your interest in this title. Currently, it is available only in hard copy at the British Library. Due to a recent cyber incident affecting the British Library, there is now a significant backlog of paper materials awaiting scanning. Once their systems are fully operational again, we plan to prioritise scanning from hard copies. However, at this time, we are unable to provide an exact timeline for when this will be completed. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Good news! – Driffield Times fits our inclusion criteria. We have researched the BL catalogue and it is available to us for digitisation. We have added the following years to our Digitisation Plan: 1869-1955

We are looking forward to digitising this!

Please be aware that until we have received the material into our studio and checked it, it is not possible to guarantee that it will be digitised.

    Best wishes,
    Team BNA

  6. The Daily Gleaner (Jamaica)

I have been a regular researcher on this site since it was first launched. It would be lovely to see some more Jamaican Newspapers added, I’m sure they would be beneficial to many people who had Colonial ancestors who lived there. I see you are adding Colonial India Newspapers, but so far only have one Jamaican Newspaper. The Daily Gleaner would be an excellent addition to your brilliant archives.

  20. Hamilton advertiser

This paper is an excellent resource, but the earlier and later years are really needed on this site. The 1850s are missing, and coverage should extend to at least 1945
