Newspapers we should add next
Tell us what publications would be of most use to you. You can be as general (Victorian cycling magazines) or specific (South Wales Argus) as you wish! We take on board all of your suggestions but are bound by copyright restrictions and our agreements with publishers, these form the boundaries of what we may publish online.

Rochdale Observer - pending years, then just disappeared
The site recently had various years for the Rochdale Observer (eg 1927, 29, 30, 34-38, 62, 65, 67-69) as "pending", about a month or two ago....then they just disappeared from that list. Where are they, can they be completed please.

The Surrey Advertiser
For some reason the only year missing for The Surrey Advertiser is the one I am looking for... Please could 1959 be added? Is there a reason why this particular year is not available? Thank you

Derby Daily Telegraph 1976
In the archive for Derby Daily Telegraph (1879 - 1990) the whole year for 1976 has not been uploaded. Is it possible to add 1976?

Market Harborough Advertiser and Midland Mail
Brilliant coverage for a market town and large rural area that doesn’t feature much in the Leicester or Northampton papers. Please vote for it!

New Era Uttoxeter
The New Era Uttoxeter's first newspaper was first published in 1855 by Mr J Kelly on his premises on High Street Uttoxeter. Before that any Uttoxeter news was covered by the Staffordshire Advertiser or the Derbyshire newspapers particularly the Derby Mercury both based about twenty miles from Uttoxeter. It would be lovely to see copies of this local paper.and also the Uttoxeter Advertiser. Hoping you can do something soon so we can find out more about Uttoxeter's local and family history. Thank you.

Scots Magazine
The Scots Magazine is an invaluable resource of information. I am specifically interested in the 18th c. I can't find the SM in the BNA (?)

West Briton from 1932 to 1971
You already have the Cornish Guardian archive which covers East Cornwall to 1971 but the West Briton which covers West Cornwall is only available as far as 1931. Bringing the western paper archive closer to the present day will greatly help those researching Cornish news. Thank you,

Burton and Derby Gazette
A very popular newspaper in its day, covering a large swath of Derbyshire and East Staffordshire. This general all round newspaper I'm sure would be a great attraction and potentially draw many new members to the great BNA website.

1770–1800 The Western Flying Post; or, Sherborne and Yeovil Mercury
Apparently, this has been planned for the past five years. I have been periodically returning to the page to find out if this had occurred yet, with no luck. Please add it! I would be most grateful.

Morning Journal Jamaica
I have been a regular researcher on this site since it was first launched. It would be lovely to see some more Jamaican Newspapers added, I’m sure they would be beneficial to many people who had Colonial ancestors who lived there. I see you are adding Colonial India Newspapers, but so far only have one Jamaican Newspaper. The Morning Journal would be an excellent welcome addition to your brilliant archives.

Inverness Journal and Northern Advertiser
Predates the Inverness Courier by ten years, therefore a vital and unique source for history of the north of Scotland in the 19th century, especially in the Napoleonic wars period. NLS has hard copies. Because there are only a few surviving copies, few people know about it, so it seems unlikely to get many votes. Should importance of increasing knowledge of an area and gaps in coverage not also be factored into priority for digitisation?
