The Leek Post and Times served the whole of the Staffordshire Moorlands area, much of which was not served by the Stoke Sentinel. This is long overdue for inclusion, especially the First World War period when so many local men died for their country.

The Leek papers are excellent for reporting mainly on a set page local news items which in a larger circulation paper would never get a mention.
