    The Leek papers are excellent for reporting mainly on a set page local news items which in a larger circulation paper would never get a mention.

    This paper like the Leek Times is a small newspaper but with an emphasis on local news providing otherwise unavailable information on ordinary people in the North staffs Moors

    Macclesfield has been well served by local newspapers which cover a good part of Cheshire. The courier is one of these. Surely this area deserves some coverage in the archive
