Looking for family of Dick (Richard Arthur) Evans, father Arthur, mother Rose, brother to Ella Alice Pope (nee Evans). Dick apparently owned a pub in Tottenham, poss. called the Above Bar, in the 1950s. Have had no luck tracing such a pub. Also hoping for some info on Ella's husband, known to us as James Albert Edward Pope (poss. James Alfred).

I’m searching for information on the above, From 1911 onwards , I have them in 1901 Census, but she and family appear to have slipped through the cracks for the 1911 census. She is my Husbands Grandmother , and we are in contact with a couple of surviving relations but are unable to trace location of family from 1909, till around 1949. Also seeking Military information on her Husband Edward Thomas ADAMS during WWI Thanks Maggie

I'm trying to find Annie, the daughter of Edward and Maria Elizabeth Gifford (nee Murray). On the 1881 census she is stated as Annie Gifford born 1876 in America, along with her brother Edward Albert and sister Eliza Mary who were born in the Tottenham/Woodgreen area. By 1886, Maria her mother has died. They then they all seem to have disappeared. I have Edward and Maria living in Afton, Chenango, New York, USA on the 1875 census, but no daughter Annie. By 1881 in Tottenham, Annie had been born. I don't know if Annie was her real name. I cannot find a marriage cert for Edward and Maria, neither a birth cert for Annie. After 1956 Edward Albert the son turns up on the 1967 census married to Martha, and living in Islington. (Edward Albert and Martha are my gt grand parents) Can anyone help find a marriage cert for Edward and Maria, or a birth cert for Annie. And where are they on the 1978 census. I've tried looking for passenger list for them, but have found nothing. Thanks
