Over the last year, we have worked with National World to secure an agreement allowing us to digitise and publish more of their content. National World currently have over 200 local and regional titles across the United Kingdom and we are diligently working through them as quickly as possible. While the Portsmouth Evening News is on the plan, please note that turnaround times may vary depending on the accessibility of the material for digitisation.

trying to find out what happened to William Thomas Light b approx 1947 I think in Southampton. He married Sarah Jane Walsh at St Mary's,Portsea on 23 Sept 1975 .They had one son William born in 1976 who died in 1981.Sarah re-married in 1988 to George James Green and certificate notes her as a "widow" living in Landport Street.Cannot find any trace of William's death on any search engine and young William's obituary states "son of the late William Light".Thank You.

Im searching for decendents of robert adams and julia (ward).robert and julia married in 1928 in stafford. roberts parents john adams and hannah ? came to burslem from ireland in approx 1936. arthur adams married sarah ann henn in stafford in 1938 and were living in st paul stafford on the 1944 census with children, millicent abt 1946, edith abt 1947 and baby robert abt 1950..baby robert is given as 7yrs but is only 7mths. note John Adams on the 1961 census is living at mount pleasant buildings,burslem with wife Hannah and children, thomas, mary,ellen,hannah and stephen all born ireland. John was a glass cutter.
