Problems with Manchester Evening News
I have been trying to read the copies of the MEN for mid-November 1961 that you have placed on your site - in particular the births and deaths columns - but unfortunately parts of these have been very poorly scanned and are impossible to read. Can anything be done about this?

We sourced this material directly from the publisher, we tried to source it from our usual partner but they did not have these years in their collection. Our team of expert digitisation operatives try their best to capture the best image possible, in this case, the microfilm itself was of poor quality. We did flag the quality internally but ultimately decided this was better than no images for these years.
