Lincolnshire titles
Lincolnshire Free Press
Hi everyone, just to give you a little update:
We have just added the ‘Market Rasen Weekly Mail, and Lincolnshire Advertiser’, years 1856-1955 to our digitisation plan. In addition, we have also just added the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph 1937-1950 to the plan.
Please be aware that until we have received the material into our studio and checked it, it is not possible to guarantee that it will be digitised.
Best wishes,
Team BNA
Thank you for your suggestion. We have investigated the availability of the Lincolnshire Free Press – The good news (pun intended!) is that 1. It is in scope for us and 2. It appears to be available to us as microfilm. So . . . we have added this to our digitisation plan for future digitisation!
Best wishes,
Team BNA

Is there any news on further Lincolnshire Free Press titles coming? Just as we had the above reply stating that it is available to you as microfilm quite some time ago.

I've just added an idea for the Sleaford Gazette and Sleaford Journal. As far as I know, both are in the BL archives.

or North Lincolnshire.
The Lincolnshire Times was known to its more senior readers as The ‘Ull Times, as it was printed and published north of the Humber by the Hull Daily Mail.

It would be very helpful to have these two papers covering the Spalding area as currently you only have the news from the district as reported in the Stamford Mercury and papers from North Lincolnshire.
