More newspapers from Scotland
We hope you’ve been keeping up to date with our Scottish releases
Among the new titles we’ve added are the Brechin Herald, Carluke and Lanark Gazette, Forfar Dispatch, Galloway Gazette, Buchan Observer and East Aberdeenshire Advertiser, and the Milngavie and Bearsden Herald.
Kilmarnock and Ayrshire in general.
Any chance of you doing the North British Daily Mail -published in Glasgow.

Delighted that more Scottish papers are being digitised. For the West coast and especially Argyllshire it would be very welcome if more years of the Oban Times were covered - only 5 years so far.

Thank you for the update - this is great news

Are you any further on with your plans with this?

Your coverage of the Northern highlands could be improved by adding the Ross-shire Journal and by completing your digitisation of the Inverness Courier and the John O’Groat Journal

How about the Scotsman?
The Bellshill Speaker
If you are looking to digitize more Scottish papers, I would ask that the Ayr Advertiser after 1835 be first, then the Kilmarnock Standard. Then any of these in no particualar order:
Ayr Observer from 1832-1899
Ayrshire Post from 1880 rgus & Express
Troon & Prestwick Times
The Haddingtonshire Courier
Would this include the Scottish editions of UK papers? They are usually not stored on Nexis.

There is the one Paisley area paper already on the site, but any more from that area would be welcome. And, further dates of the one posted would be great also.
I would like to see newspapers from Ayrshire, Kirkudbrightshire and Moray.
Local Kincardineshire and Angus papers, such as the Mearns Leader or the Montrose Advertiser

I'm an overseas researcher of family history from Australia and looking for newspapers in the Aberdeenshire area of Scotland - Congratulations on the speed of giving feedback from your survey and what your readers/researchers are needing. Regards Diane

I would like to see newspaper from Dumfries & Galloway area. And from Moray.
The Scotsman have their own site where their archives are available. Have found some good WW1 materials there but it is more expensive than the BNA.

I would love to see the Falkirk Mail and also the West Lothian Courier come on to the Archive. It would help my local football research.
