My first full time job was working for the Advertiser, would love to see it digitised

Please do this paper as it would be beneficial to a lot of people doing research.

The Long Eaton Advertiser, is a valuable connection to the past of this wonderful town and area.

Any updates on this? Last time I checked, the BNA were looking at copyright information, but no official word has been posted on here. It's now been 3 months!

It would be great to have a PROPER online version to search for members doing their family tree.

The Long Eaton Advertiser holds a key to local peoples past please help by adding this very popular paper.

I think the Long Eaton Advertiser should be digitised, so we can compare the kind of news stories that were most predominant then, compared to now.

Have been looking through other local papers to find relatives on my family tree to no avail. As we are/ were a Long Eaton family this hopefully will be much more useful

If this was done, our future generations could look back and see what life was like all those years ago.

Our children and grandchildren would be able to see for themselves our local history being written down as it was being made

Digitizing the Long Eaton Advertiser would be a fantastic idea.

As this paper goes back to Victorian Times the information is invaluable.

We all need to be able to look back into our local history .

I recently subscribed to your site for a month and very much enjoyed reading the articles about Long Eaton in "The Derby Mercury", the "Derby Evening Telegraph", the "Nottinghamshire Guardian" and the "Nottingham Evening Post".

Whilst these newspapers covered the major events in Long Eaton that were of interest to our neighbours nevertheless there were significant events for Long Eaton that weren't reported in the forementioned newspapers.

Please consider digitizing the "Long Eaton Advertiser" sooner rather than later.
