I am researching my family history and have recently found out that my Grandfather died in Nottingham Workhouse on 15th August 1956 age 41.His name was Edward Fernandez.
He was a Carver and Gilder and I assume he was working and living in Nottingham as his wife and family lived in Hull.
I would love to find out more about his circumstances as to why he ended his days
In the workhouse.
If anyone who visits the Nottingham Archives could help me I would be so greatful.
