Oldham
If population size determines ranking for digitisation then why for example is Oldham not included yet, which covers Saddleworth etc. and is many more than some of those you have done already?

Still no sign of any Oldham newspapers or indication there is any plan to add them.It must surely be the biggest town so far ignored & was also a major centre of British industry along with being of considerable historical political interest. Both of town's principal newspapers had far larger readership & influence than so many of the additions to the archive. Having to rely on truncated tidbits from Manchester newspapers is deeply unsatisfying

Is this still under review? Oldham Chronicle would be useful. Any publication which covers Saddleworth, which despite being geographically close to Oldham, was in the West Riding of Yorkshire until 1974. Coverage of this area is neglected.

The Oldham Chronicle or Oldham Standard would be fantastic. As pointed out by Brian, the Oldham area's population is much higher than many others you have already covered. Also it was one of the pre-eminent industrial towns of the Victorian era.

as a major town in industrial Britain I really feel Oldham should be covered.
