charlotte Parr married William Mullins 3 Jun 1956 St Marys,Portsea,Hampshire,England
Hello, Charlotte married William there on that date but the records dont seem to list either spouses parents- children were Robert and George. Robert goes on to serve in navy and married an Isabella Hamilton in Argyle. In terms of the Parr and Mullins children Roberts older than George so potentially either William or Charlotte had a parent or grandparent called Robert. Any help would be appreciatEd -

Does anybody have a photo of the Bunker's Hill Arms at 27 South Street, Gosport? From census returns, I know the pub existed in the 1920s and it was still in existence in the 1960s. Was it bombed during WW2? Or redeveloped at some time, like so much of that area?

Ive a photo of a young man taken by C. Biskeborn, Photographic Artist, 9 Landport Terrace, Southsea. The photo was in my grandmother Sophia Spiller Smith Sutton's album which she brought with her from Devon, England, to the United States about 1976. Unfortunately, there is nothing to identify the man in the photo. So far, I've not found any information on the photographer that could pinpoint the timeframe in which the photo was taken. I have been lucky enough to find that the uniform he is wearing is that of a Grenadier Guard. Does anyone have any information that might help? I suspect the man may be a member of either a Smith, Sutton, Way, or Spiller family from Devon. The families lived in Exeter, Ottery St. Mary, and Colaton Raleigh. One family, John Way and Charlotte Smith Way, lived in London briefly before immigrating to the USA in

I am researching the family of Arthur Spicer, from Marylebone in London. His sister Mabel married a James (thats his surname) around 1970 and moved to Southsea.(Was he a naval man?). They had two known addresses: 16 St Margarets Terrace and then 52 Brampton Road. All attempts at tracing the marriage and subsequent history have failed, so any help would be most welcome.

Does anyone have any information regarding them. Did they divorce? I believe that Herbert married again in 1978. I would like to know what happened to Nellie and were there any children of the marriage.
