I would love it if you could add some pages from the Troon and Prestwick Times, Ayrshire, Scotland. We have a very active Old Troon Facebook Group, with over 5000 members. Over the past few years I have transcribed many newspaper articles about Troon from non-Troon newspapers and shared them with the Old Troon Facebook group. The articles are well-received and are bringing a lot of pleasure to both local and spread-around-the-world Troonites. It would be super to get the actual Troon newspapers especially from the 1930s to the 1980s. Thank you very much for all the hard work you do. It is very much appreciated.

Looking for information on The Marine Hotel which opened in 1897 ( foundation stone by Duke of Portland in 1894 ) Also the Centenary in 1997 if celebrated and related stories. This is for research on a book about 3 Scottish golfing towns and specific hotels. Any help much appreciated. I am visiting Troon ( my home town ) in early February and stayng at The Marine.
