North Berks Herald and Abingdon Herald Series
North Berks Herald and also the Abingdon Herald series which published versions for Wantage, Wallingford and Didcot.
These papers are already held in Oxfordshire libraries on micro-film. I use a viewer at Abingdon Library, but it would be so much easier if they were available on the British Newspaper Archive.18 votes -

I suggest this for personal family reasons but I'm sure it would benefit many others too. My interest lies around 1922.

Chatham News
This series of newspapers was last updated two years ago, and the planned/promised issues have yet to materialise. Would it not be a good idea to complete the promised digitisation of papers such as this, rather than adding new, obscure titles?
At the moment, Chatham News has just ONE year available from the 20th Century, 1939. The plan was to add 1903 to 1955, which would cover both major conflicts of that century at what was one of Britain's major Naval ports.

It would be good to see either of these newspapers as part of the online archive.

West Lancashire Evening Gazette
West Lancashire Evening Gazette, 1960-1979. A treasure trove of Blackpool entertainment stories and adverts. Also, if possible, the annual What's On magazines (Blackpool 71, Blackpool 72 etc) that were published each season by the Gazette.
