Reporting errors to you
An easier way to report errors to you. I've found pages that won't open, the OCR being nearly non existent, the OCR covering a different article on another page, the OCR not opening. When I have reported these errors in the past all I receive back is a standard reply regarding the OCR will have errors and not responding to my specific point.

I cannot believe that I have been conned in to paying a subscription for abysmal OCR that is embarassing. Rather than keep adding new papers, it might serve them better to run their older papers through modern OCR software.
I've been a member for a week, and every single article i have found has errors, ranging from poor to abysmal. The reason I came to look here was a paper where the OCR hadn't recognised the columns, so merged two together, and within that hadn't recognised a tenth of the words. Yet there is nothing I can do to report it! -

There is no page 1 of Flag of Ireland for 7 August 1875: yet page 2 has been scanned. There should be a way to report this sort of thing from the page rather than trying for ages to find a way to pass it on.

I too have had the wrong page shown when I have searched for something specific, finding the article the search found elsewhere in the issue.
I also find edges of pages cutting off some text.
The publication I have used most recently does have quite poor print, but even allowing for that, the OCR is often terrible. So much of it is so bad, searches cannot be finding all articles of interest to me.
I want to report all these things easily and BNA to take notice that a paying customer is not 100% happy with the service. Work with us! -

I find some newspapers impossible to read and want to be able to report this to BNA - e.g Bradford Observer 5 October 1865 has an article about someone in my research but it is impossible to read
