How can we improve The British Newspaper Archive?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Send reminder prior to renewal so I can check and cancel if wanted

    Untick the auto-renew subscription by default.

    Hi there,

    We send reminders for 12 month subscriptions, but not currently for 1 month subscriptions. We have no lans to change the auto-renewal nature of the subscription at present, but you can untick this option at any point after making your first payment

    Unfortunately, we would not stay in business very long if we lowered prices further – they are already significantly cheaper than they were in April this year (a month’s access used to cost £29.95)
