    From what I can glean this newspaper was a wealth of knowledge for the WW1 historians of the Merseyside regarding the Pals Battalions - their lives, their heroics and their medals.
    We have just commemorated the WW1 Battle of Guillemont in which nearly 800 young Merseyside soldiers lost there lives between 30th July and 1st Aug in 1916.
    It would only be fitting if this period was digitised for our greater knowledge.
