    The Newman Family
    My father's first wife was Florence Newman of the Bridge Inn Kidsgrove. They had 2 children,before she died in 1926. My father re married and I was born in 1953. I grew up at the Bridge Inn and knew Gertrude Newman very well. I also met Auntie Beatrice and Auntie Frances on a couple of occasions when they came home from Canada. I knoiw of Tom and his memorial which was in the churchyard and I think I know a little of the other brother.
