    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

My name is Pat and I am from Australia. I am a writer and I am currently researching the potter Thomas Parr from Burslem Staffordshire. I already know that Thomas was christened March 1 in 1931, he married Eliza (born 1945) and had at least twochildren - a girl (can't find her yet but she married a 'Durber' and had a son Benjamin in 1960) and a boy Thomas jnr born 1965. Thomas's parents were William and Dorothy - William was a potter too - from a long line of potters in fact. Thomas sold out of the pottery in 1960 to William Kent who continued in business until the 1980s. In 1981 Census the Parrs (and grandson Benjamin Durber) were living in Adam Street Burslem. I am eager to find out if there are any local history sources or associations who would be able to either point me in the right direction for searching from AFAR or be able to undertake research for me (paid). I would like to know birth date, apprentice information, marriage date, death date - anything I can get myhands on about Thomas Parr in fact. Hope to hear from
