    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

Looking for information about Eign Cottages, Milman's Street, Chelsea
We're looking for any 'extra' information we can find on the above mentioned address as well as it's occupants - between 1940s & 1960s... So far we have easily located Milman's Street on old maps - but 'Eign Cottages' appears to be more of a challenge! Can anybody help please? Thank You

Have just spent some time going over your website thoroughly. Congratulations on a very thorough site.

My Grandmother, Margaret Bamford, was born in Alsager in 1884. We never knew her as she died in Ontario just after the birth of my mother in 1918.

Three of her sisters are in your records - Alice, b. 1877 married William Matthews of Carlton Curlieu in 1897; Sarah Ann married John Thomas Rodwell in 1891 and Elizabeth married Alfred Arthur Perkins in 1899. On your census for 1891, the past has John's surname as Rotwell - it should be Rodwell. He was from Caverswall

Thanks for an interesting site - I hope to get to Stoke on Trent and area sometime. Can’t wait for more issues maybe perhaps the 1960-70s period
